谢谢 Kevin 和这位微博用户发来的问题。看来，不少英语学习者都对这几个词有什么区别有兴趣。名词 sector、department 和 division 都是大型企业、机构、组织内部分支的名字。虽然 sector、department 和 division 都可以被翻译成“部门”，而且这类词义也有重叠的部分，但它们所代表的机构职能、规模可能不同。在下面的节目中，大家将通过例句来帮助大伙剖析同义词 sector、department 和 division 有什么区别。
第一，大家来看 sector。虽然大家常把单词“sector”翻译成“部门”，但 sector 多指“某个国家经济活动或社会中的一个行业”。譬如： “the service sector 服务业”、“the financial sector 金融业”。让大家来听几个包括单词 sector 的例句。
